Teen Spotlight

Book CoverOur first teen spotlight focuses on someone who is actually no longer a teenager, but he was a teenager when he made his first million dollars! Farrah Gray, now 20 years old, is an excellent example of the reward of persistence and hard work. At the age of 8 years, he began his first business, called Urban Neighborhood Enterprise Economic Club (U.N.E.E.C.). During his teen years, he founded and operated several businesses, as well as hosted an interactive teen radio program. At the age of 14, he became a millionaire through the sale of his Farr-Out Foods business.

What makes Farrah Gray unique? First of all, he is a self-made millionaire. He was born and raised in a poor area of southside Chicago. Moreover, he is very humble, crediting numerous mentors with contributing to his success, not the least of which is his mother. Moreover, he gives back to his community, and encourages youth entrepreneurship through his foundation. He is also the youngest person to have an office on Wall Street.

He has recently published his autobiography, Reallionaire: Nine Steps to Becoming Rich from the Inside Out, a fascinating read. In addition to telling his story in this book, he encourages the reader to begin his own journey through a step-wise process of self examination. This book is a must read for any young person who plans to be successful. Here is a nugget of wisdom from his “Reallionaire Affirmations”:

“Opportunities are everywhere. I can rise above any circumstances with hard work, integrity, faith and especially persistence.”
