What is ?

When Cindy Lauper said, “girls just wanna have fun,” she was probably right. But there are many more types of fun than simply watching television, talking on the phone and even playing sports.

We Have A Tomorrow, Inc(W.H.A.T). is composed of 7th and 8th grade students from Baltimore who have chosen to spend a considerable portion of their Saturdays dedicating themselves to a different type of enjoyment by challenging their minds in the areas of writing, speaking, and critical thinking.

From 10 am to1:30 on Saturdays, (while many of their friends are still sleeping) these students spend their time hearing valuable information about making wise choices, and preparing for their futures.

Moreover, they discuss their concerns, engage in public speaking, and develop improved computer skills.

The students also get the opportunity to meet and interact with women who are in the fields of their own interests, such as lawyers, writers, doctors, teachers, and entrepreneurs.

In other words, they are using their free time to equip themselves with skills for success. Let’s give these girls a hand for taking their futures in their own hands!

Our overall goal is to assist adolescent girls with self-development and to equip them as they learn to:

• plan and reach their goals
• discover and utilize their unique God-given gifts and abilities
• obtain competence in the areas of success skills such as communication, computer, critical thinking and entreprenurial skills 
• become creative and self-reliant young women
